Advantages using active methodologies for executive training

Other day we wrote about the effectiveness of training and the different methodologies. Today, after more than 18 years working with active methodologies (games and simulations) in training, we list the main advantages:

The simulated experience contributes to the understanding of abstract factors and the cause and effect relationships in organizations.

It allows the externalization of the participants' knowledge and a collective reflection on the problem / decision situation that needs to be taken.

It presents authentic activities related to the participant's organizational context.

It allows, throughout the process of social interactions, reflective practice and collaborative construction of knowledge.

The concept of systemic vision works in a simple way, stimulating analytical reasoning, similar to everyday decisions.

It allows working with a long-term vision, lacking in most professionals and never worked in traditional training.

Engagement strengthened by the playful sense, being able to work on quantitative and qualitative aspects.

The analysis of the results (mistakes or successes) contributes to the construction of an “anticipative intelligence” in the participants.

Possibility to work on technical, behavioral aspects of the individual and also collective (of the teams).
